Bike Tour of Longfellow Creek
Andrew Chase and Ben Evans (two outstanding Denny teachers) will be leading a bike tour (in English and Spanish) of the Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail on Saturday, September 27th at 9am at the baseball fields next to Roxhill Elementary School.

From Roxhill, the route will follow the Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow. It is about 4 miles one-way. There are a couple of places where you will have to carry your bike up/down some stairs. Dress appropriately for Seattle! 

The ride will finish around 11 am at the Dragonfly Pavillion (28th Ave SW and SW Dakota Street) or by noon back at SW Roxbury Street/Roxhill Elementary.

If you are willing and able to help, contact Ben Evans.  Everyone is welcome to attend and learn more about our local ecology!

Ultimate Frisbee & Girls' Soccer - Join Now!
All Denny scholars are invited to play for Denny sport teams.  Physicals are required and can be done through the school Health Center.  Sports are a great way to get involved, stay in shape, and have fun! Go Dolphins! (For more information, check out the Athletics page - link to the left.)

Follow Your Student's Schedule for the Evening
Please plan to join us on joining us at school for our Open House at Thursday, September 18, at 6:30 – 8 pm.  All parents/guardians will have a chance to follow the schedule of their child and meet all of the teachers and learn about all of the classes.  Hope to see you there!


New Hours for Denny!
 Please note the new daily Denny school hours: 7:50 am - 2:20 pm. Scholars should be in the building no later than 7:45 am in order to be in their classes by 7:50 am.
